a semi-triumphant return
I have clearly returned from getting married and all related business, which went extremely well and all involved parties are extremely happy.
In commemoration of this grand event, I have added some new artwork to my portfolio page – more specifically, some illustrations I created for my wedding invitations and related print material. Maybe it’s silly to be including them in my professional portfolio, but they were tons of fun to work on and lots of people liked them, so it seemed worthwhile to show them off a little more. I hope you’ll take a look and check them out!
I will be adding even more recent work to my portfolio soon, so I do hope you’ll return in the future. (Or subscribe to my always fascinating blog via the RSS feed at the bottom of the page!)
As a secondary purpose to this post, I would also like to note that I am now available again for new work, so if you are interested in hiring me, please get in touch!
time off
Hi everyone!
This is going to be a busy few weeks for me, as I am getting married this Saturday, August 1st, and then going on a super fantastic honeymoon! I will be gone until August 19th.
I will, however, still be within e-mail contact if necessary! But I will not be able to take on any new work until after the 19th.
Thanks for stopping by!
hello, internet
Hello, and welcome to my website!
I hope to use this space to show off the things I’ve been working on lately and keep track of all my ideas. As an artist, I find looking at in-process work as interesting as the final result, so I hope to share some of what goes on in my own head here. I tend to carry a sketchbook around with me everywhere for notes, so this is sort of the digital equivalent, I suppose.
And who am I, exactly? I am a graphic designer. I recently graduated from SUNY Buffalo’s Visual Studies program with a concentration in Communication Design. I have spent a lot of time studying and working, perfecting my craft! At last, I am finally ready to go out into the world and do this as an actual career! At least, that’s what the fancy piece of paper with my name on it says. I grew up in the Buffalo area and spent my childhood being a geek in general, messing around with computers and Photoshop and stuff like that. Eventually, it translated into what I want to do for the rest of my life.
If you are looking for a designer or illustrator for your freelance project, please feel free to get in contact! There are a bunch of ways to get in contact with me on the “Contact” link to your right. Oh connected world that we live in.
